Max is home or....Jacob, dinner's up!

Melissa did it. She brought our Max into the world at 2:07 am Thursday September 25. I was on hand and had just shined off a spectacular sandwich that I had made earlier in the hospital cafeteria. It was a thing of beauty but more about that latter. (4 different kinds of meat!)

Max is now home and Melissa has been up with him every night. I have taken the task of softening the blow to Jacob. This is two fold. First we want Jacob to know he is loved and secondly we don't want him to eat the new baby.

Jacob has been giving Max lots of loves. But Melissa caught him licking Max's face the other night. To make matters worse Jacob has forgone playing with the Tupperware and gone straight for the skillets. We think there may be a plan in place.

Lyndsey is being a wonderful helper. She loves her boys and is very sweet to them. I should also add that in all the excitement of Max's arrival Lyndsey has won a climbing higher award from school for completing all her work on time and correct the first time. She is such a good student.

Noah has been awful lovey with the new baby also. He made Max a card welcoming him home and telling him the various reasons why he loves him so. (He's cute, he's little and cute). Noah also won a climbing higher award. We are proud of how hard he works in school to complete his reading, math and spelling each night.

Melissa is adjusting to being home with the baby nicely. She was a trooper during the whole thing. She was given an epidural (Twice). YIKES. It didn't look fun.

I've been staying home with Melissa to help out with the baby. I'll be heading back into the normal routine mid week. I think she'll be glad to see me out of the house so much.

Well that's all for now. Men dominate our house. It's sweet! Can't wait for the flat screen television filled with sports all hours of the day. Testosterone reins supreme!!!! MUAHAHAHA!
